ISPO Canada 2011 Symposium

The 2011 Symposium brings together an international array of experts with a wide spectrum of experience related to prosthetic and orthotic care. This Symposium will be of interest to all health professionals working with prosthetics, orthotics, or physical rehabilitation; biomechanists; kinesiologists, and engineers. The 2011 Symposium is being held in conjunction with the Ontario Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists.

Atlantic Regional Programme: The Friday morning programme will be video conferenced to Halifax and St. Johns as part of the full-day Atlantic Region programme. Please conact Elizabeth Harris for details. Click here for the Atlantic programme and registration form.
Two new session types will be included in the 2011 Symposium program: Short Presentation / Case Study and Demonstrations / Posters.
A“Wine and Demonstrations” session, to be held on September 30, allowing delegates and exhibitors to provide demonstrations of their prosthetic and orthotic innovations in a “show and tell” or poster format. This could include patient specific solutions, unique design and fabrication methods, software, measurement methods, etc.

To be considered for inclusion in the program, please submit the abstract form by email before August 1, 2011. The ISPO Canada Symposium committee will review all submissions and applicants will be contacted by email to confirm the review results.
