Consumer Programme

Welcome to ISPO's Consumer Day Web page! Professionals (with clients with a disability) and individuals living with a disability will find Consumer Day a must!

All areas of life for a person who lives with a disability are affected by it to some degree. The diverse Consumer Day Program focuses on practical information on many of those areas: the emotional/psychosocial adjustment to living with disability; the physical realities of disability; the latest on prosthetic and orthotic care and wheeled mobility; the essential role of recreation; and making your home and vehicle meet your needs.

This one-day program, with Health Talks and Workshops from prominent experts in their fields, will inspire not only consumers but Congress delegates too!

Attendees will have access to the Exhibit Hall where manufacturers will display their products. The latest innovations in prosthetics, orthotics and wheelchair/seating will be showcased. As well, a resource package will include a list of contact information of organizations in your community.

So mark your calendar for Wednesday, August 1st, 2007 and come on out to Consumer Day! You can reserve your spot on-line today.

Click here to download the consumer programme flyer.

Note: Congress Delegates do not need to reserve in advance. The cost is covered with your Conference registration (excluding the lunch for Consumer Day registrants).

Also, travellers from outside of Canada (including the United States) should verify their Passport status to ensure that the expiry date is greater than 3 months after entry into Canada.
